
Mr. Hasnain Iqbal serves as Director (Communication and Coordination) at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). His portfolio includes oversight of social, print and electronic media, as well as the flagship initiatives such as Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program (CFMP) and Chief Minister Complaint Cell (CMCC).
CFMP is a province-wide initiative aimed at improving public service delivery through citizen feedback and evidence-based interventions. It was recognized by the World Bank in its Innovation Report 2018 as one of 15 global initiatives that have effectively enhanced service delivery through technology. CMCC is a province-wide digital mechanism designed to collect and address citizen complaints related to service delivery.
With nearly 25 years of management experience, including senior leadership roles at global organizations such as Shell and Schneider Electric, Mr. Iqbal brings extensive expertise across multiple functional areas, including strategy, communication, and general management.
Mr. Iqbal holds an MBA from Pakistan and an MA from Warwick Business School, United Kingdom. He also freelances as a journalist for leading English dailies such as The Express Tribune and Daily Times and his work has been featured in a compilation of Pakistani English Literature published by Pakistan Academy of Letters.
