Hasnain Iqbal is presently working as a Director at PITB leading the flagship Punjab Government Program, Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program (CFMP). The province wide program aims at improving public service delivery using citizen feedback and facilitate officials in evidence based decision making. CFMP was included by World Bank in its Innovation Report 2018 as one of the 15 initiatives globally that have successfully improved service delivery through the use of technology.

Hasnain brings with him around two decades of diverse management experience with global companies like Shell. As the General Manager of a leading Cisco partner, he managed a large, functionally diverse team across Pakistan with the overall Profit/Loss responsibility. He also leads the Social Media at PITB and successfully oversaw the Digital Punjab campaign, first of its kind, that showcased the range of IT interventions deployed by Punjab government to improve governance. Digital Punjab involved a concerted social and print media blitz to highlight some of the best IT initiatives.

Hasnain did his MBA from Pakistan and MA from Warwick, UK, one of the best business schools in the world. This afforded  him an insight into the cultural sensibilities of other nations broadening his outlook significantly. A multi-faceted person, he is also a freelance writer for leading English dailies, Express Tribune and Daily Times and one of his written pieces was included by Pakistan Academy of Letters in their yearly compilation of Pakistani English literature. Hasnain brings to PITB a combination of solid management experience, exposure to working in a global ecosystem, a curious mind and a flair for engaging people.
