The ‘Lahore High Court IT Fair 2016’ took place at the Punjab Judicial Academy on Friday. First of its kind, the Fair showcased all the IT initiatives developed for judiciary in order to streamline judicial processes and ensure transparency.
Generously attended by lawyers, judges and all relevant stakeholders amidst media, the event gave a unique platform to all 36 districts of Punjab to showcase their IT interventions pertaining to judiciary.
At the occasion, Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah inaugurated LHC’s website and application developed by PITB and visited various stalls with Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif and got acquainted with IT initiatives including PITB’s Cause List Management System, Litigant Feedback Monitoring Program, helplines and Enterprise Case Flow Management. LHC acknowledged Dr Umar Saif and team PITB for their untiring efforts and providing technical assistance to the IT wing of the Court whereas Dr Saif stated that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is a visionary man who believes in reformation, timely justice and transparency. Chief Justice LHC thanked Dr Umar Saif for his outstanding efforts and guidance.
