After the successful launch of e-Stamping in 10 selected districts of Punjab, e-Stamping would be launched in Lahore on August 23, 2016. Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif stated that e-Stamping has generated revenue of more than RS 700 million since its inception while 30,000 electronic stamp papers have been sold so far. DG (e-Gov), Sajid Latif said that stamp papers are now being issued within 10-15 minutes, which previously took 4-5 days.
