PITB and Tech Valley Pakistan have signed an MoU to provide 10,000 Google Scholarships to partner organizations through various marketing and outreach activities. The MoU was signed by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and CEO Tech Valley Pakistan Umar Farooq on behalf of their respective organizations.
Google for Education Consultant for Pakistan Haris Sufian, Project Manager for Google Career Certificates Scholarships Program Karishma Mehtab, Senior Outreach & Coordination Manager Madiha Mongol and PITB JD Freelance Wing Chaudhry Ahmad Islam and other senior officials were also present.
As per the MoU, a 6-month training will be provided in the 10 domains of IT Support, Project Management, Advanced Data Analytics, IT Automation, UX Design, Advanced Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. The training will be given free of cost to the beneficiaries of the scholarship through $100 to $500 worth Coursera courses.
PITB will shortlist and provide a list of eligible organizations in Punjab and assist Tech Valley in reaching out to these organizations. PITB will also promote scholarships for eligible organizations in the province.
