A World Bank delegation comprising senior representatives visited PITB to acquaint themselves with PITB's ICT interventions rolled out across Punjab. The delegation was briefed on the Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program (CFMP) and e-Pension System.
The World Bank delegation included Practice Manager Governance Hisham Ahmed Waly, Senior Financial Management Specialist Akmal Minallah, Senior Operations Officer Aleksandar Kocevski, Governance Specialist till Hartmann, Financial Management Specialist Noaman Ali, Financial Management Specialist Mirza Omer Baig and Analyst Ahmed Shah Ahmadzai.
PITB Director Communication & Coordination Hasnain Iqbal gave a detailed presentation on CFMP highlighting its scope and how it has benefited the stakeholders in bridging the communication gap between the government and the citizens.
PITB Director Atif Hussain from IT-Operations wing gave a briefing on e-Pension System aimed at facilitating the retired citizens with a simpler process while ensuring transparency.
The World Bank delegation showed keen interest in the initiatives discussing how best to enhance their effectiveness further.
