PITB, in collaboration with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized a two-day e-Procurement training session on e-PADS for the Sahiwal Divisional & District Offices.
The training was held at the Government Post Graduate College in Sahiwal and staff members from Sahiwal, Pakpattan and Okara districts were among the participants. Commissioner Sahiwal Shohaib Iqbal Saeed was also present. Overall, 132 attendees from 66 departments from the Sahiwal division were trained.
Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) MD Waqar Azim gave a detailed presentation on the Procurement Cycle. PITB e-Procurement team delivered hands-on training to acquaint the attendees with the system and also addressed their queries and concerns.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors located anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
This session was part of the series of trainings being organized for various government departments to acquaint them with e-Procurement System.
