CEO Education Lahore Holds Meeting With PITB & Tech Valley Pakistan

CEO Education Lahore Muhammad Pervaiz Akhtar had a meeting with PITB and Tech Valley Pakistan to initiate the 'Digital Safer Future' project in Punjab that aims at fostering 50,000 students and1000 STEM teachers of public schools with digital skills.

Detailed discussion was held on a number of concerns such as the selection of schools that are equipped with IT labs and internet facilities, number of students enrolled at the elementary level and selection of IT teachers for the training.

The meeting also focused on executing hybrid mode for training during the upcoming summer vacation and on the selection of Area Coordinators to ensure a successful training.

The project will be rolled out in two phases in which Area Coordinators will be trained in the first phase while School IT Teachers will be trained in the second phase.

PITB representatives SPM Maryam Shahzadi and Assistant Program Officer Mayra Mahmood as well as Tech Valley Pakistan Manager Outreach & Coordinator Madiha Hussain Mongol and Head of Technology Tech Valley Pakistan Saima Gul attended the meeting on behalf of their respective organizations.
