PITB, in collaboration with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized a two-day training session on e-Procurement for Dera Ghazi Khan Division and District Offices.
The training was held at the DC Office DG Khan and Deputy Commissioner Shahid Zaman Lak was also present. Staff members from the divisional and district offices of Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur attended the session.
Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) MD Waqar Azim gave a detailed presentation on the Procurement Cycle. PITB e-Procurement team delivered hands-on training to acquaint the attendees with the system and also addressed their queries and concerns.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors located anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
This session was part of the series of trainings being organized for various government departments to acquaint them with e-Procurement System.
