PITB, in collaboration with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized a two-day e-Procurement training session for the Divisional and District Offices of Rawalpindi.
This session included participants from the Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal and Attock districts and was held at the PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. Vice Chancellor PMAS-Arid Rawalpindi Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem was also present.
Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) MD Waqar Azim gave a detailed presentation on Procurement Cycle. PITB e-Procurement team delivered hands-on training to acquaint the attendees with the system and also addressed their queries and concerns.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors located anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
This session was part of the series of trainings being organized for various government departments to acquaint them with e-Procurement System.
