A delegation from the Sindh Capacity Development Fund visited PITB today. Dr Umar Saif demonstrated and briefed the delegates about the Program Monitoring and implementation Unit (PMIU) system developed by PITB. PMIU summarizes the real-time data received from schools across Punjab and enables the public to freely access that data. Dr Saif explained how open and freely accessible data can promote transparency and work performance in education sector.
Delegates from Sindh sought PITB’s assistance to replicate the mechanism and provide training. Moreover, they appreciated other ICT endeavors, devised by PITB under the dynamic leadership of Dr Umar Saif.
