Minister School Education Department Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat has inaugurated the launch of ‘Digital Safar Future.’ A collaborative effort of PITB, Punjab School Education Department (PSED) and Tech Valley Pakistan, it aims at fostering 50,000 students and 1000 STEM teachers of public schools with digital skills.
Senior officials including Special Education Secretary Khalid Nazeer Watto, PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi and ADG Muhammad Kashif Farooq were present.
An orientation session was also held during the event to equip the teachers with the skills needed to deliver the ‘Digital Safar Future’ curriculum effectively.
Overall, the ‘Digital Safar Future’ represents a significant step towards a digitally advanced Punjab, preparing students to become future tech leaders.
