PITB team conducted a Zoom training session for the Social Welfare Department to instruct their staff on using PWD Executive App for verifying Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) for the Himmat Card initiative. The Himmat Card offers a range of government services to PWDs, including a newly announced quarterly stipend for those in need.

Attendees included the Social Welfare Department Director General Amna Munir, Council on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) Director Irfan Gondal, divisional directors, deputy directors, and verifiers.

The training was led by PITB Program Manager Noreen Anwer, with Senior Program Manager Zunaira Ahmed and Program Manager Sehrish Naz also in attendance.
