PITB in collaboration with Punjab Archives & Libraries Wing conducted a meeting with the faculty of Institute of Information Management (IIM) of University of Punjab (PU) at the Director's office.
The primary focus was to formulate the scope and different approaches for successful implementation of e-Library project. PITB ADG Kashif Farooq presented an overview of the digitization plans, available systems and functionalities along with future prospectives of the e-Library project.
Secretory ALW Zahoor Hussain appreciated PITB for its efforts and discussed the way forward. ALW representatives including DG Kashif Manzoor, Heads of different Libraries of Archives & Library Wings, Director IIM Dr. Nosheen Fatima, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Prof. Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman were also present in the meeting.
