Online College Admissions System (OCAS) developed by PITB facilitates students to apply for online admissions in government colleges across Punjab.
Upon applying, a student’s matriculation data from Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) is uploaded into the system, allowing the candidate to access it with minimal information (Matric Roll Number, BISE, Year & Session). Candidates can apply to colleges and programs via acquiring a simple online form and then downloading and printing their application fee slips.
OCAS is a collaborative effort of the PITB, Higher Education Department (HED) and BISE (9 Boards) in Punjab. It is successfully operational in Punjab and has ensured transparency and efficiency since its initiation in 2011.
