An exclusive delegation of World Health Organization visited Dengue Monitoring Cell at Institute of Public Health during which PITB Dengue Project Lead Shahzad Anwar presented IT components of Anti-Dengue Campaign; Dengue Tracking System, Complaint Management Systems, Patient Reporting System, and Vector Surveillance. Briefing on future implementations were also shared that include an Android based application of Patient Hotspots Surveillance to track and monitor the affected vaccinates. Upcoming project Automation of Dengue Virus Report, which will help to register the complaints and assign them to responsible agencies for their prompt response in real-time manner, was also discussed. WHO Regional Advisor Dr Hamayun Asghar appraised the commendable efforts by PITB Dengue Team for carrying out a successful Anti-Dengue Campaign.
