PITB, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and APNIC jointly organized an impactful workshop titled ‘Incident Response and CERT’ that successfully concluded today. The 3-day training was conducted by APNIC Australia Senior Internet Security Specialist Adli Wahid.
The workshop gathered top IT experts from various prestigious organizations, including PTA, National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT), Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MOIT) and PITB, making it a melting pot of knowledge and expertise. Over the course of three days, participants delved deep into both theoretical and practical aspects of information security. The workshop also focused on a hands-on training and also covered forensic analysis management, providing participants with a holistic view of handling and mitigating security incidents.
The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, acknowledging the efforts and participation of all attendees. The certificate distribution ceremony was presided by PITB Chief Information Security Officer Sajjad Ghani, PTA Director Cyber Security Ahmed Bakhat Baloch and APNIC Senior Internet Security Specialist Adli Wahid. A special thanks also was extended to APNIC and PTA for their invaluable support in organizing this event.
