A key meeting was held at the National Information Technology Board (NITB) to discuss the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP). PITB is leading the way in developing a comprehensive digital one-stop-shop for the entire country on this initiative that aims to centralize and enhance accessibility and transparency for all Pakistani citizens. PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif presented a plan for a unified platform that integrates services from all public sectors.
This collaborative effort also includes the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB), Sindh Information Technology Board (SITB), Balochistan Information Technology Board (BITB) along with key stakeholders such as the World Bank, Board of Investment (BOI) and the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MOITT).
The overall goal of DEEP is to streamline public services, making them easily accessible and transparent as we advance towards a more efficient and unified digital ecosystem.
