e-Procurement Successfully Processes 484 Tenders Worth PKR 200 Billion+ In A Single Day

PITB and Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) conducted an e-Procurement activity for the Communication & Works (C&W) Department. The e-Procurement System successfully processed 484 tenders worth PKR 200 Billion+. Around of 4000 bidders participated in the activity that spanned 9 divisions across Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman lauded PITB team's dedication and commitment to digitization of procurement processes ensuring improved transparency and efficiency.

In this regard Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf stated, “This achievement reflects our commitment to enhancing good governance through technology. e-Procurement system has revolutionized the way tenders are managed, ensuring convenience and enhanced accountability. I would like to congratulate PITB team for their outstanding work and dedication in successfully implementing the system in Punjab.”

e-Procurement, a flagship initiative of PITB and PPRA, incorporates modern techniques to make government’s traditional procurement processes secure and efficient. Vendors located anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
