A delegation from Google Australia comprising Senior Manager Chrome Enterprise Uzair Rana and Regional Enterprise Max Eddy along with representatives from TechValley Pakistan visited PITB today and had a meeting with PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi.
PITB’s ADG IT Muhammad Kashif Farooq, Director Skills Development Ahmad lslam Syan, Joint Director Sajjad Qureshi and Head of IT TechValley Pakistan Saima Gul were also present.
The participants also explored the prospects of local manufacturing and assembling of Chromebooks, highlighting the benefits of cost-effectiveness and customization. Overall, the discussion focused on potential collaborations for optimizing local partnerships and the supply chain.
The delegation expressed keen interest in the opportunities and benefits that this collaboration could offer to the education sector, aiming to foster greater efficiency and accessibility.
