PITB will be showcasing its innovative Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) 2.0 solution as part of the citizen services at the upcoming HBL P@SHA ICT Awards 2024 under the Government Services for Public category. This ICT intervention solution has revolutionized the public service delivery, streamlining and digitizing the driving license issuance process.
Prior to the event, an online meeting was held during which PITB Joint Director Rai Rashid along with SSE Muhammad Mamoon Sharif and PO Saad Ullah Shah gave a detailed insight into the system. They explained how DLIMS 2.0 combined with auxiliary systems have dramatically reduced footfall at driving license centers by 85%. By digitizing the key processes like the Learner's Permit Applications and License Renewals, the system has improved both operational efficiency and convenience for the public.
