A meeting was held between Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Director Planning and Evaluation Mudasser Javaid and Maryam Ke Dastak team, comprising PITB Project Director Haroon Rasul Khokhar and Senior Program Manager Anum Khan, to include WASA related services in the Maryam Ke Dastak initiative. This will further expand the portfolio of services available for delivery at citizens' doorsteps in Punjab.
The participants appreciated PITB for its efforts and support in this regard and expressed willingness for onboarding of WASA related services. WASA Deputy Director Planning & Evaluation Usama Zulfiqar and Deputy Director IT Malik Ahsan Hayat were also present at the meeting.
Maryam Ke Dastak, an initiative of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, aims at facilitating the citizens by bringing service delivery to their doorsteps through trained ‘Dastak Facilitators'. Currently, this project is facilitating the public with over 60+ services in 22 districts of Punjab.
