A meeting was held among the representatives from PITB and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) to discuss the swift integration of WASA services in the ‘Maryam Ke Dastak'. In another meeting held earlier, PITB had already proposed to integrate WASA related services in the initiative.
The representatives from WASA included WASA Deputy Director Planning & Evaluation Usama Zulfiqar and WASA Deputy Director IT Malik Ahsan Hayat while the ‘Maryam Ke Dastak’ team from PITB comprised Director Syed Nayyer Ali, Joint Director Faisal Mumtaz and Senior Program Manager Anum Khan.
Maryam Ke Dastak, an initiative of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, aims at facilitating the citizens by bringing service delivery to their doorsteps through trained ‘Dastak Facilitators'. Currently, this project is facilitating the public with over 60+ services in 22 districts of Punjab.
