PITB and Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) held a 3-day e-Procurement training for the representatives of Lahore High Court and District Judiciary Punjab. The training was held at the Punjab Judicial Academy Lahore and was attended by the staff members of all the districts from across Punjab.
MD PPRA Waqar Azim gave detailed overview of the PPRA rules and regulations highlighting its scopes and how it’s has ensured transparency, accountability and efficiency in public procurement in other government departments so far.
Additionally, PITB e-Procurement representatives from e-Governance wing delivered a hands-on training, familiarizing the attendees with the system. The session concluded with a Q&A activity.
The e-Procurement system incorporates modern techniques to ensure secure, efficient government procurement. Under this system, vendors from any location can submit bids online, making the procurement process more convenient and accessible.
