Launch of 'CM Initiative for Livestock Asset Transfer for Rural Women in South Punjab'

Minister Livestock & Dairy Development (L&DD) Department Punjab Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani launched the 'CM Initiative for Livestock Asset Transfer for Rural Women in South Punjab' today. Senior officials including PITB ADG Khurram Mushtaq and JD Rana Umair were also present.

The initiative aims to uplift the rural communities in South Punjab by providing livestock assets to eligible widowed and divorced women, fostering economic independence and supporting livelihood sustainability.

This will be supported through PITB developed digitised solution comprising Mobile Application and Web Portal. The scheme is part of CM Punjab’s Livestock initiatives being rolled out by PITB.
