Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Special Education Sania Ashiq Jabeen chaired a meeting with PITB team to discuss a wide-ranging agenda. Special Education Department Secretary Saima Saeed, DG Shahida Farrukh Naveed, PITB ADG IT Muhammad Kashif Farooq, Joint Director Muhammad Mahmood and Program Manager Noreen Anwar attended the meeting.
PITB ADG IT Muhammad Kashif Farooq discussed ‘Bolti Kitabain’ (audio books) for visually impaired students, PWD Mobile App and training sessions. Both departments mutually agreed to collaborate to convert course books content into audio format to empower students with disabilities and enhance their learning experience.
Joint Director Muhammad Mahmood gave a detailed insight on PITB's developed School Information System (SIS) and highlighted its key components ‘Attendance Tracking’ and ‘Field Staff Monitoring’.
