Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development Department Saima Saadia Temur held a meeting with PITB to discuss the implementation of ICT interventions for the said department. Secretary Women Development Department Usman Ali Khan, Sheikh Saad UC Administrator, PITB ADG IT Muhammad Kashif Farooq and PITB Director Nausheen Fayyaz also were present.
PITB ADG IT M. Kashif Farooq gave a comprehensive overview of the Web and the Mobile Application developed for the Working Women Hostels under the Women Development Department. The application is designed to offer several benefits to both the residents and the hostel management, including Online Registrations, Complaint Submission, Room Management, Real-time Occupancy Monitoring and Online Payment Methods.
In addition to this, PITB Director Nausheen Fayyaz discussed developing a Web and a Mobile Application for the Daycare Centers managed by the said department. This system will simplify the Registration Process, Grants Disbursement, Surveys along with other benefits for the Daycare Centers while enable efficient monitoring and management of the services provided.
Overall, the digitization of the department’s initiatives aims to enhance transparency and work efficiency. It also marks a significant step towards implementing tech-driven solutions to effectively monitor and manage the department’s public service delivery.
