Chief Secretary Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (GoAJ&K) Dawood Muhammad Barech soft-launched PITB developed Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) for the province. He was accompanied by AJ&K Police Inspector General Rana Abdul Jabbar PSP. AJ&K DIGs, SSPs and Police Officers from AJ&K 10 Districts attended the meeting online.
PITB representatives from IT-Operations wing including PITB Joint Director (JD) Rai Rashid along with Senior Software Engineer Mamoon Sharif, Program Manager Technical Abdul Waheed and PITB team members from Software Engineering wing gave a comprehensive presentation on DLIMS developed by PITB. PITB Joint Director Rai Rashid emphasized on its features and highlighted its benefits for the citizens.
An MoU was also signed between PITB and AJ&K Police after the soft-launch ceremony to develop a ‘Digital Warden’ Mobile Application aiming to enable digital payments and paperless challans across AJ&K.
On behalf of Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf, PITB representatives presented a shield to The Chief Secretary GoAJ&K and IG AJ&K. In response, they also presented a Shield of Appreciation to PITB team.
