Minister Education and Secretary Higher Education (SED) Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat chaired a meeting at the Higher Education Department to discuss PITB proposed key education-centric IT initiatives.
PITB ADG Muhammad Kashif Farooq gave a detailed brief on the ‘Establishment of Excellence Center’ at the Commerce College Township that aims at fostering the graduating students with the latest global IT skills such as web and mobile development, Chip Design, Robotics etc.
Furthermore, he discussed the development and the implementation of an AI Bot-based Information and Complaints System available in the local language for the School Education Department.
Minister Education and Secretary Higher Education appreciated PITB for these proposed initiatives and discussed the way forward.
