PITB and Board of Investment (BOI) Islamabad have signed an MoU to establish Business Facilitation Center (BFC). The MoU was signed by PITB DG Government Digital Services (GDS) Muhammad Waseem Bhatti and BOI DG Zulfiqar Ali on behalf of their respective organizations.
According to the MoU, PITB will provide BOI with a wide range of digital solutions, including software solutions, hardware procurement and deployment, hosting and training of the staff etc. PITB will also extend its support as a consultant in the construction of the BFC building and in the execution of the operations.
In this regard, DG GDS Muhammad Waseem Bhatti also held a meeting with the stakeholder representatives from BOI and Capital Development Authority (CDA) and offered insightful guidance to them for the enhancement and improvement of the building under construction.
The BOI representatives praised the leadership of Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf, who is leading a remarkable digitization drive to improve public service delivery across Punjab.
Overall, the discussion centered on building a long-term partnership and exploring future business opportunities between PITB and BOI emphasizing on fostering collaborative growth and innovation.
