e-Khidmat Markaz, established by PITB under the Government Digital Services (GDS) initiative has commenced its services at its recently launched Rahim Yar Khan center. In this regard, an Operational Launch Ceremony of the services was held today at at e-Khidmat Center Rahim Yar Khan. Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan Khurram Perviaz and PITB DG GDS Muhammad Waseem Bhatti graced the occasion. Other senior officials from the District Administration Departments and e-Khidmat Marakaaz were also present. The launch ceremony also included a tree plantation activity as part of CM Punjab’s initiative to endorse a healthy and green Punjab.
PITB DG GDS Muhammad Waseem Bhatti toured the center and co-chaired a meeting with all the stakeholder representatives at the center and assured of compliance with the SOPs to ensure efficiency and timely public service delivery. He also thanked Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan for his support in the establishment of e-Khidmat Rahim Yar Khan.
e-Khidmat Markaz Rahim Yar Khan aims to facilitate citizens with provision of 160+ services of different government departments under one roof. The services include Character Certificate, Birth or Death Certificate, Marriage and/or Divorce Certificate, Domicile, Vehicle Registration, Payment of Token Tax, Issuance of CNIC, NADRA e-Facility, Post Office, and Transfer of Ownership of Vehicles. e-Khidmat Marakaz are already successfully operational in other major cities across Punjab.
