A delegation, comprising, the Probationary Officers of ICT Society of the Civil Services Academy's 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) visited PITB to get acquainted with the ICT interventions rolled out by PITB across Punjab including those implemented by other provinces.
PITB DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi briefed the participants on PITB's achievements, highlighting its innovative role in digitizing services and driving technological advancements.
The delegation toured the state-of-the-art Data Center facility, where PITB Joint Director Haroon Rashid explained its operations and key functionalities. They also visited the Punjab Master Command and Control Center of the Punjab Masstransit Authority to observe its cutting-edge management systems.
The visit concluded with a visit to the e-Khidmat Markaz established by PITB in the premises of Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP). PITB Joint Director Usman Waheed gave detailed insights into the various government services being offered under one roof highlighting how it has benefited both the government and citizens by ensuring transparency and enhancing public service delivery.
