PITB Team Visits Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department, Mayo Hospital

PITB team, comprising Program Manager (PM) Noreen Anwar and Assistant Program Manager Adnan Javed, visited the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Mayo Hospital. During the visit, Dr. Wajahat Kamal, Head of the Department, provided a comprehensive tour of the facilities and the prosthetics workshop, showcasing the department’s efforts in supporting rehabilitation patients. 

The visit was part of an initiative funded by a grant from South Korea aimed at advancing prosthetics development and rehabilitation services under the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department. PITB will play a pivotal role in coordinating between stakeholders and facilitating the establishment of a state-of-the-art rehabilitation and training center.
