PITB Conducts Training Sessions for Waste Management Companies on IT-Based Monitoring & Evaluation System of the Suthra Punjab Initiative

PITB conducted a series of training sessions for Waste Management Companies and Contractors from various districts of Punjab, including Lahore, Sialkot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala. These sessions aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of the Suthra Punjab Dashboard & Mobile Application, focusing on its key modules such as the Human Resource Management System, Solid Waste Management, and Complaint Management System.

PITB SPM Mariam Zaib accompanied by APO Danial Arshad and ITBMS team, led the training sessions providing detailed insights into the system’s monitoring and implementation processes. The training emphasized how the application can streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve service delivery across all districts. 

Each session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, enabling participants to clarify their queries and share ideas for effective system utilization. Representatives from all Waste Management Companies (WMCs), including MIS Managers, actively participated, contributing to fruitful discussions. 

The sessions witnessed significant participation, with over 120 employees and contractors from across the eight districts attending. This initiative underscores PITB’s commitment to equipping stakeholders with the tools and knowledge necessary to uphold the Suthra Punjab Initiative’s objectives of sustainable waste management.
