Planning and Development Board organized an insightful session on DataHub Punjab, a standardized government-wide data-sharing and analytics platform developed by the Punjab IT Board.
The session was attended by the officials of P&D Board, Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit, Bureau of Statistics Punjab, and Punjab IT Board.
Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail and Chief Economist Muhammad Masood Anwar highlighted the importance of real-time datasets in streamlining the ADP formulation cycle, ensuring cohesive data acquisition and dissemination across projects.
DG BoS Punjan Sajid Rasul and PITB DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi provided an in-depth overview of DataHub Punjab, emphasizing its role in ensuring reliability, security, accuracy, and consistency of data.
DataHub Punjab integrates millions of records from 10 different departments, offering district/tehsil-level analysis across various sectors, including Education, Development Portfolio, Revenue, Agriculture, and Commodity Pricing. The platform features a live dashboard and a self-service data-reporting engine, allowing departments to generate customized reports and conduct dynamic analytics.
