Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the ‘Punjab Dhee Rani Programme’, an initiative that aims to support at least 3000 underprivileged families, including orphans and destitute young women, to fulfil their socio-religious obligation in a dignified manner.
At the inauguration, she gifted each bride with ‘Salami’ of PKR 100,000 and a set of valuable bridal gifts. Senior officials including Senior Minister Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal (SW&BM) Sohail Shaukat Butt and PITB ADG Muhammad Kashif Farooq were also present.
Aspiring applicants can apply on the PITB developed website at https://cmp.punjab.gov.pk/. The process is supported by a dashboard and a Mobile Application, also developed by PITB for the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal (SW&BM) Department ensuring transparency and ease of application.
