Punjab Irrigation Department Deputy Secretary General (DSG) Rao Muhammad Sohail Akhtar chaired a project review meeting with key stakeholders to discuss PITB-developed Irrigation Revenue Collection System (IRCS) also known as e-Abiana.
PITB Joint Director Usman Waheed gave a comprehensive update on the successful development and deployment of the ‘Crop-Based Water Rate Assessment System.’
Discussions were also held regarding the timelines for dashboards for Senior Member Board of Revenue, Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners aiming to enhance visibility and monitoring of the Abiana collection.
DSG Irrigation lauded PITB for the timely completion of two major modules of the system and discussed the way forward.
