A high-level meeting was held between PITB and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) at Kashmir House, Islamabad, to discuss the digitization of tax collection processes. The session focused on adopting digital solutions to enhance efficiency, improve transparency, and modernize revenue management systems.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary IRD AJK Muhammad Raqeeb Khan, alongside Commissioner Inland Revenue AJK, Muhammad Ansar. PITB Joint Director Rai Rashid, Program Manager Mamoon Sharif and Program Officer Anum Nadeem participated in the discussions.
Key deliberations centered on implementing advanced digital platforms to streamline tax collection and optimize operations. Secretary IRD AJK appreciated PITB’s role in driving tax digitization and stressed the need for continued collaboration to introduce innovative, technology-driven solutions for the Inland Revenue Department.
