Video conferencing session with State Bank of Pakistan was held at PITB on progress of e-Stamping project. The meeting presided by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif included representatives of Taxes Board of Revenue and Bank of Punjab, as well as, Project Director e-Stamping Asad Islam Mahni and PITB JD e-Stamping Ali Mazhar. e-Stamping system aims to prevent paper and process related fraudulent practices, leakage of government revenues, and store information in electronic form to build a central database to make ease of the verification process.
