A progress review meeting was held regarding the Automated Fare Collection & Bus Scheduling System (AFC-BSS) project under the Annual Development Program (ADP).
The session was chaired by the CEO Punjab Transport Company (PTC) at the PTC Head Office Lahore and comprised key stakeholders, including focal persons from PITB, Chinese delegation from Yutong and the Faisal Movers.
Discussions centered around the ongoing project activities, challenges and latest developments in the AFC-BSS pilot project initiative.
PITB ADG Syed Qasim Afzal presented a detailed briefing on ongoing activities of AFC-BSS whereas PITB Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Adil Iqbal highlighted the technical developments.
The CEO PTC appreciated PITB’s efforts and acknowledged their pivotal role in digitizing the public transport initiative.
