A delegation from Saudi Arabia based company ELM along with representatives of Abacus Consulting visited PITB to get familiarized with the ICT interventions rolled out by the Punjab Government. The delegation comprised Senior Executive Director Abacus Consulting Naveed Hussain, Vice President Public Relations Sikandar Jamshaid and Senior Business Analyst ELM Mustapha Ghouili.
PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif discussed the PITB’s groundbreaking initiatives in the domains of e-governance and automation, citizen centric services, supporting businesses and youth empowerment. He highlighted the e-Khidmat initiative that is offering citizen centric services across Punjab.
The delegation also visited e-Khidmat Center, Punjab Data Center and Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) to gain insights into how PITB is digitizing the government processes. PITB senior officials including Director Skills Development Wing Ahmad Islam Syan and Senior Program Manager Muhammad Ashfaq Tiwana were also present.
The overall objective was to learn about Punjab’s tech policy and digital initiatives, explore how PITB is fostering innovation and know about government backed programs to explore future partnerships.
