Thirty innovators from around the world gathered in Lahore for the 2-week International Development Design Summit (IDDS) organised by the International Development Innovation Network. During the exclusive ceremony Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif addressed the participants, who hailed from across the globe including Central and South America, North America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and other Asian countries. Dr Umar Saif briefed the attendees on IT endevours in Pakistan, solutions to development challenges, and the use of ICT Interventions in the fields of education, health and citizen services. The Lahore International Development Design Summit was organized in collaboration with Innovation for Poverty Action Lab at Pakistan’s Information Technology University.
