A meeting was held with the Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Ali Nasir Rizvi to discuss the digitization of the Islamabad Police department. PITB Director Law and Order Rai Rashid, DG Safe City Islamabad Shakir Dahwar PSP and Director IT ICT Police Atif Abbas were the key attendees.
During the meeting, the IG Islamabad shared the scope of the digital transformation of the ICT Police, focusing on the automation of citizen-facing services and the implementation of a cybersecurity framework for their digital platforms.
In response, the PITB JD Rai Rashid presented PITB's proposed solutions to roll out this initiative as per the shared vision, which also included, the automation of the traffic portfolio through the integration of DLIMS and the Digital Warden App for ICT Police.
The IG Islamabad acknowledged the proposals and directed immediate initiation of these solutions. He also lauded PITB's for its continued support in advancing technology-driven reforms for the ICT Police.
