DIG Crime Control Department (CCD) Waqas Hassan along with SSP Umar Salamat visited PITB to discuss the digitization of their Criminal Tracking System, which is now renamed as ‘e-Tracking System.’
PITB ADG Syed Qasim Afzal, Joint Director (SE) Syed Muhammad Raza and Joint Director Law & Order Rai Rashid shared key updates and presented a roadmap for this groundbreaking initiative. The development team also showcased a live demonstration of the tracking device, addressing all technical concerns raised by the CCD team.
The session featured in-depth discussions on digital platforms, technical challenges and strategic steps aimed at ensuring transparency, regulatory effectiveness and improved public service delivery.
