Project Review Meeting Held on Vehicle Route Permit Regime

Secretary Provincial Transport Authority (PTA) Muhammad Hassan Ahsan convened a progress review meeting on the Vehicle Route Permit Regime (VRPR) with all the stakeholders at the Transport and Mass Transit Department. Key representatives from PITB included ADG IT-Ops Syed Qasim Afzal and JD IT-Ops Arsalan Manzoor along with team member SPM Haroon Hafeez.

VRPR is an ongoing initiative aimed at streamlining the issuance of vehicle route permits under the said department. The meeting focused on its current activities, challenges and recent developments. In addition, extensive discussions were held regarding the regime’s supplementary services.
