A comprehensive progress review meeting was held on the Punjab Digital Transport Governance (PDTG) project as part of the Annual Development Program (ADP). The session was chaired by the Secretary Punjab Transport Authority (PTA) and was held at the Transport and Mass Transit Department. Key stakeholders’ representatives including PITB Additional Director General (ADG) Syed Qasim Ifzal and Joint Director (JD) Arsalan Manzoor were also present.
The discussion focused on the current operations, recent developments and the performance optimization of three core PDTG Modules VRPR (Vehicle Registration Route Permit Regime), VICA (Vehicle Inspection and Challenging Application) & PALD (Punjab Axle Load Data Application). Further discussions were held regarding the future plans to enhance the service delivery and digital efficiency across these platforms.
The session concluded with a visit to the PDTG Command & Control Center (CCC), where the participants reviewed the proposed site and discussed the envisioned digital infrastructure, aligning with the long-term objectives of the PDTG initiatives.
