PITB, in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), conducted a series of trainings on e-System for various government departments including Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA), Punjab Affordable Housing Program (PAHP) and The Urban Unit. Officials from divisional, district, and tehsil-level offices participated in the session.
A separate training was also held for the officials from Medical Social Services Units (MSSU) from Lahore District under the umbrella of Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department at Social Welfare Training Institute, Lahore.
Managing Director PPRA Sahibzadi Wasima Umer gave a brief presentation on the e-Procurement initiative highlighting its key benefits and scope. PITB e-Procurement team gave a hands-on training as well and conducted a Q&A activity to conclude the session.
e-Procurement system incorporates modern techniques to ensure secure, efficient government procurement. Under this system, vendors from any location can submit bids online, making the procurement process more convenient and accessible.
