PITB held a comprehensive training session on e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS) at the Government College University Lahore. GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry along with the management team participated in the session.
PITB JD Ishfaq Ali briefed the attendees on the scope of e-FOAS highlighting its features and benefits. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A activity.
e-FOAS developed by PITB is successfully functional in a number of government departments. It aims at transforming the conventional paperwork into a completely paperless environment. The core purpose of e-FOAS is to enhance the department’s efficiency via maintaining instantaneous internal/external communication, task management, improved transparency and reduced office expenditures.
