PITB and Government Central Library Bahawalpur Sign Contract

PITB and the Directorate of Public Libraries Punjab (DGPL) signed a contract for the digitization of the Government Central Library Bahawalpur under the e-Library initiative.

The contract was signed by PITB Additional Director General (ADG) Kashif Farooq and DGPL Director General Kashif Manzoor at the Quaid-e-Azam Library Lahore.

This initiative marks another step towards preserving Punjab’s literary heritage and promoting digital access to public libraries. Through PITB’s technological expertise and DGPL’s commitment to modernization, the project aims to make valuable literary resources more accessible to citizens, researchers and students across Punjab.
