PITB conducted a comprehensive two-day digital training workshop at the Municipal Public Library Burewala. The training, presided by Assistant Commissioner Burewala Capt. Ret. Arshad Iqbal, aimed to enhance the capacity building of the library staff in the areas of Staff Digital System, Online International Databases Access, Cataloging and Online Membership Management.
PITB Senior Program Officer Muhammad Kamran Yousaf delivered the hands-on system training and detailed orientation sessions. The participants were guided through practical exercises involving digital record management, cataloging workflows and membership processing, enabling them to adopt modern library automation tools professionally.
Additionally, a meeting was held between AC Capt. Ret. Arshad Iqbal and PITB representatives SPM Aqsa Ghazi regarding the future collaborations.
