Chief Minsiter (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by former Prime Miniser Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, presided the balloting of ‘Apni Zameen Apna Ghar (AZAG) Program.’ Senior Minister Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf as well as other officials including PITB’s DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and Directors Badar Munir and Muhammad Haseeb Anwar were present.
CM Punjab awarded 2000 applicants with free of cost 3 Marla developed plots in 19 districts of Punjab through balloting held via PITB developed portal to ensure a transparent and hassle-free process. A Mobile Application has also been developed for the citizens to apply and keep track of their application.
‘AZAG’ is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at providing free land to the deserving citizens. This scheme aligns with the CM's vision of ‘Housing for All,’ ensuring that deserving citizens have access to affordable houses.a
